Description: Mothering is a way of being with those we love, those in need, and even those who threaten us, guided by compassion and care. Being a mother to someone does not have to entail a biological connection. As mothers we have the power to choose mothering relationships through adoption, friendship, for a life-time, or when needed during difficult times. Mothering is a gift of strength and love.
